Cognos Analytics

Hi,
We have a report which is running fine while running as a developer like editing reports and running 
the same thing when we run for multiples companies using report view/shortcut/report property run, then it throws an error 



Is this issue is with value prompt or parameters or need to do modify any settings in report view.

Not a direct answer to your question, but I would also recommend allowing more users access to see detailed error messages.
It can help a lot if you have users logging issues as they can then be asked to provide the full error they receive, it also helps to avoid trawling the logs for the majority of things as well.

Yes parameter is defined on the report as a prompt,
I am passing that company parameter to 2 different queries to filter the data, after filtering there is a left outer join between those two queries
the joined query is the main data set that is used for the report.

I figured out the issue that is coming with the Master-Detail relation which is defined for the page set.
if I remove the Master-Detail relationship I' am unable to achieve the Pageset in the reporting.

Hi, The first one should be fixed with 1.1.2 and the second one appears to be an error with global parameters only. Is your error reproducible with other reports? Did maybe something change with the parameter in the report specification and the parameter properties from the Cognos Portal may be outdated? Did you try to fix the report by removing this parameter completely (also in the Cognos Portal properties) and add it afterwards again?
