  • 1.  PAW/PAX Task Pane

    Hi, I have a user who reached out as they are unable to see alias of dimension members in Task Pane. The way we can switch between alias in TM1 is not working the same here or I am not familiar how to switch it on. For example centers are only visible in the hierarchy as codes in the Task Pane. Is that functionality to switch between alias/no alias available here? Thankyou in advance.​

    Hi Nidhi,

    You can accomplish this by right clicking the hierarchy and selecting the appropriate alias name.

    Hi Matt, thanks for you response. However right clicking does not populate the name just the codes. The way Turn on/off aliases button would work in TM1 is the function I am looking in PAX- Task Pane. We are using Pax 2.0.39.8 version.

    Hi Nidhi,

    I would suggest upgrading to the latest version of PAx. I have tested this in version 2.0.54.6 (not the latest) and it does seem to change the captions in the tree to the alias value as expected.
