    Hello to all!

I was asked from customer IT if IBM Planning analytics can handle EntraID.

At the moment we use Spreadsheet Services with a Local Server (on prem) + ILMT.

Is there any experience/knowledge/documentation info in the group?

    Thanks a lot,

    Andreas

Yes, IBM Planning Analytics can handle Microsoft EntraID as Microsoft EntraID is but the new name for Azure Active Directory (AD).

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/security/business/identity-access/microsoft-entra-id
Azure Active Directory is now Microsoft Entra ID
    New name, same powerful capabilities.

To that end user authentication in IBM Planning Analytics has to be configured for Cognos Security aka Cognos Access Manager (CAM). Afterwards, in Cognos Configuration you can create a new Authentication source using EntraID (formerly known as Azure AD) as Identity Provider (IdP).

I know the question was about PA Local, but I wanted to confirm that IBM PAoC supports SSO with EntraID as well, in case someone searches for it or in case the client ever considers moving to IBM Cloud.
