Yes, you definitely need to increase the default value of ProxyTimeoutSeconds, which determines the amount of time PAW waits for the TM1 server to respond. I don't see any downsides when increasing ProxyTimeoutSeconds, but IBM may have more information.

Subject: Extending PAW Button Timeout?
Hi folks:
Does anyone know if extending the ProxyTimeoutSeconds configuration parameter for PAW is likely to help with the problem of an Action button reporting a timeout error for a long-running TI process?
This being the situation where the TI process runs successfully to completion, but the user gets an error before it is done.
Conversely, is there any known downside to extending the ProxyTimeoutSeconds value?
Thanks,
AG
