Cognos Analytics

Hi,

When I navigate in the Data Module, I encounter a random error message (MSR_GEN_0058 Unable to get module feedback) that appears at the top right of the screen, preventing me from making modifications or hindering their proper implementation."

The same issue appears with another browser, or in private mode.

This data module is based on a data server on Cognos Analytics v12.0.2. 

I've set the user session logging, here are some lines that seems to be relevant:

This is rare but I cannot find this error message in the documentation or in Google!

Any idea will be appreciated.

Note (edited to add): it was working fine in v12.0.0.

Do you have any columns which have the lookup reference property set or measures which have the lookup reference set in a folder?  If you take them out of the folder does the problem go away?  If so then that is a known defect, which is fixed in 12.0.3.  The workaround is to move them out of the folder.

Hi Ian,

Sorry for the delay.

My customer did the test, moved them out of the folder, and he still has the same error message (we did the test with Incognito/InPrivate Mode in a browser).

I've asked my customer to log MOSER, he will provide me the logs.

Hi Patrick, Is there any update on the issue? We are encountering exactly the same moving from Cognos 11.2.2 to Cognos 12.0.2 

Any help is appreciated.
