    Hello,

When I run a process from PA, I do not get a message that it was run successfully (in TM1, there would be a popup box that stated success or error).  Can you tell me if an error message will pop up if the process was not successful?  We are having some issues with updates and we are trying to eliminate what the problem can be.  It would be helpful if we knew that there would be some type of popup for processes that are not successful.

    Thank you

    Mary Ann,

In architect the functionality between TM1 and PA hasn't really changed and you should be able to see the error message.  If you are using PAW you should also see if a process failed or succeeded, see examples below.  Can you send and example screenshot if you are still running into issues of where you are running the process from?

    Regards,
    Tim

If the ITEMREJECT function can pop up some customized error messages in PAW like Perspectives, that would be great.

If you are running a process in PAW from a button, successful completion seems to be silent, no notifications. if there is a failure, the process error logs if shown, per Timothy's screenshot.

    Hi,

It seems that this behavior has changed with the last Planning Analytics Workspace release (57 or 58 for cloud).
Now you should  see a message when the process is running and when it is finished (successfully or not).
