  • 1.  Editing published excel spread sheets in PAW

    ​Hi All,

    We are trying to enter data in PAW into a published PAX report. After we enter it and save the data looks good, however when we exit and come back in the data is gone (back to default).
    The published PAX report is a simple spread sheet, where we just insert the numbers. Please can anyone help if you have come across smiliar thing or have any suggestions.

    if the spreadsheet content is not directly linked to data in the database (ie: the edits are to dbr's or quick reports - writeback), then those changes to the spreadsheet content would be transient.

    Does the data match in the cube or just on the published Pax on screen?  Like Ted said, you may not be writing the entered data to the cube.  Check for cube rules feeding the value as well.  You may be entering a value but a rule may be recalculating it.
