    Hi Team,

    I have installed CA 11.1.1 FM.
    Just want to check whether CA 11.1.1 FM is compatible with CA 11.1.6 version?

    Hi,

    Actually no.

    You can export Cognos 11.1.1 packages from Administration Console and import in 11.1.6.

    But, FM Client 11.1.1 is not compatible with 11.1.6 server.

    Always, you should use same version of Cognos Clientes and Cognos Server for avoiding issues.

    You should be ok but we do recommend having matched versions. FM doesn't change a lot between versions but there may be defect fixes or changes in later versions that you will eventually require.

    You can look through the fix lists to see if there is anything you may encounter.
