  • 1.  color palette through OTAP is not the same.

    Hi,

    We have made some custom colors in several color palettes in the Development environment. And we like these also in Acceptance and Production.
    Promoting through export and import is not possible. Neither through as promoting by MotioCI.

    That's why he have made the palettes with the same names and colors in Acceptance and Production.
    When promoting Dashboards and Reports to Acceptance en Production the standard Global Palette appears.
    The custom palettes doe not take over the custom palettes from the Development environment.
    How can we solve this problem?

    Hi Jan,

    currently IBM Dashboarding references the colour palette by its ID instead of the name. We also have this "feature" when deploying stuff between the environments. The only workaround is to reassign the palettes manually.

    We found that promoting using MotioCI does solve this, you just have to include the 'home' entry at root level. If you create palettes in every environment then different id's will be created and the reference to the right pallete is lost.
    Hopefully IBM does solve this for the standard deploying manner.
