AIOps

Hi Community,

a warm welcome from Berlin (Germany) to you all. I hope you all had a nice Easter.
I am part of the Watson AIOps SWAT team and have a strong Netcool background as a business partner, integrator, teacher, facilitator, coach,... you name it. But I was never a Netcool customer. Yet to come...

Netcool is still strong a strong part of the IBM strategy and it is more required than ever, as the IT world tends to become more complex (more stuff gets connected: IOT, Edge, 5G, ....) and short lived (the average time to live of a container is less then 1 hour, according to one of our studies). We have merged the Netcool portfolio with several other products into to the new (now Cloud Pak) IBM Watson AIOps portfolio.

• Watson AIOps - Event Manager (aka Netcool Operations Insight)
• Watson AIOps - Metric Manager
• Watson AIOps - AI Manager
• Watson AIOps - Topology Manager (aka Agile Service Manager), has become a supporting program and is now part of the solution

I have started to create a video series, which is published on YouTube to explain core concepts and best practices.

I will also publish here and am open to questions and request to new video's of this kind. So if you have an idea or always wanted to see something detailed, please let me know.
