    Mohammed,

I'm not sure what you're looking for, but here are a few things that might help.

    https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/flashsystem-7x00/8.3.x?topic=volumes-expanding-by-using-cli

Enter the following CLI command to expand a HyperSwap volume:

    expandvolume -size disk_size -unit data_unit volume_name/volume_id

    Where
    - disk_size is the capacity by which you want to expand the volume.
    - b | kb | mb | gb | tb | pb is the data_unit to use with the capacity.
    - volume_name/volume_id is the name of the volume or the ID of the volume to expand.

You also need to make sure that the OS can see the extension.

    Hope this helps.

    Below 2 screenshots from a FS7x00 running 8.6.0.x where I expand a Hyperswap volume from 600GiB to 700GiB.

I have a 5200 but I think you have the same problem as me when I need to expand a hyperswap volume. As fas as I know, the only way to do using the GUI is DELETING the secondary volume -so the relationship between the two volumes deletes also-, then expand the primary volume with the amount needed and then create the secondary hyperswap volume again. IBM pretend to change this in a future firmware, but as far as I know, now, the only way to do this in the GUI is like I told you.

    Hope this helps.
