  • 1.  Stepzen installation log in with API connect essentials

    I am trying to install Stepzen into my device but can't login. I have already installed stepzen globally (following the installation guide here: Setting up your environment

    Ibm remove preview

    )

    but I cannot find my <account> information. I attempted to use the environment information given on the IBM API Essentials Dashboard (domain EU) but i was greeted with an error on my terminal. Is it my IBMid? please help me solve this so i may use stepzen in my project and future projects.

    My guess is that you are not logging in correctly, did you follow this and pass the domain?

    https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/api-connect/ace/saas?topic=setting-up-your-environment#set-up-env__title__4

    If that doesn't help then you need to share what you are actually doing and the error, please make sure you do not include any api keys in any message to this forum.

    I installed stepzen following the first step 'Authorization: apikey {APIKEY}' in my terminal and a response of "bash: Authorization:: command not found".

    Then I attempted to install stepzen globally 'npm install -g stepzen', this was successful.

    Then I attempted to log in 'stepzen login -a <account> <domain> ', here however I do not have the <account> information so an error response was given.

    Can you tell me where I went wrong?

    I am basically trying to setup GraphQL API with StepZen, but since I am a new user of StepZen and they updated the process for installation since April 10, 2024 I am having a difficult time understanding the process of login. All the videos and resources I found online are for the previous version.
