Purush Das, an accomplished technology professional with over 15 years of experience, is the founder and principal consultant of Integrationpath LLC. He is passionate about leveraging cloud-native technologies to help many Global Fortune 500 companies to unlock innovation and is dedicated to guiding clients on their cloud and digital modernisation journeys.

As an IBM Champion, Purush has demonstrated deep expertise and ongoing contributions to the IBM community; “The IBM Champion distinction recognising my dedication to the IBM ecosystem inspires me. I'm devoted to offering my time and knowledge to help users succeed and expand the incredible global community that makes IBM special”.
With a focus on IBM middleware technology since 2007, he has authored numerous technical articles, blogs, and videos, and has presented at major IBM conferences. Purush's dedication to collaboration and problem-solving has earned him recognition as an influential figure in the IBM ecosystem. His favourite IBM products are API Connect and DataPower because of how they enable organisations to efficiently harness the power of APIs;

“IBM API Connect is a complete API management solution that allows companies to create, secure, manage, and share APIs with both internal and external developers. I like how it provides all the tools needed for the full API lifecycle in one flexible platform. DataPower appliances provide robust security, routing, and availability for APIs. As an API gateway, DataPower enables authentication, rate limiting, transformations, and other policies to be enforced on API calls. Together, API Connect and DataPower provide a comprehensive approach to API management. I find the complete toolchain for API creation, management and gateway functionality very compelling and modern. The ability to use these products together to enable API-led connectivity is why they are my favourite IBM solutions.”

Giving back to the technology community has always been important to him because he believes in playing it forward and helping others grow in their careers. He adds; “I enjoy sharing my real-world knowledge and experiences to help the next generation of technologists succeed”. From his well accomplished professional journey, he would like to point out a moment that he is really proud of: “Designed and led the implementation of a hybrid cloud solution utilising containers and orchestration that integrated complex IBM middleware applications. The client was extremely pleased with how rapidly I was able to design an end-to-end multi-cloud architecture and deploy their critical systems with minimal disruption to operations. Despite having to pick up new stacks and skills on the fly, I delivered a robust, scalable solution ahead of schedule due to my ability to quickly grasp cloud-native technologies. Being able to arm myself with new technical knowledge and translate that into business value so rapidly is an accomplishment I'm very proud of in my career so far.”

In his free time, Purush enjoys cricket, which has been his greatest passion outside of computers. If he was not part of the technology world, his dream job would be to become a professional cricketer!

Lightning round:

                        What would be your superpower and why? If I could have any superpower, I would choose the ability to fly. Seeing the world from a bird's eye view would be absolutely incredible. So, for me, flying represents ambition, thinking outside the box and enlightenment. Soaring through the skies would be the ultimate superpower.
