IBM Cloud Pak for Integration alongside IBM API Connect is a recognized leader in providing hybrid & multi-cloud deployments giving clients the ultimate in consistency with choice. Since IBM Cloud Pak for Integration 2022.2, IBM API Connect v10.0.5.x added support for Red Hat OpenShift running on Linux using IBM Z IFL hardware. The addition of IBM Z extended our robust support of API Connect software which was already support on x86 architecture across OpenShift, CNCF Kubernetes, and VMware Open Virtual Appliances (OVA). Earlier this week we announced that IBM intends to provide support for IBM API Connect for IBM Power based deployments when deployed as IBM Cloud Pak for Integration. This Statement of direction applies to the Manager and Developer Portal components of API Connect when deployed in the same architecture.
