I have a WO layer in the map in Maximo Desktop 7.6.1.2/Spatial 7.6.1.
My users want us to split up the WO layer into separate layers so that users can see
only the WOs that pertain to their business.
They have requested that there be a
separate WO layer for each WO classification (lowest-level classification).
And yeah, on the surface, that idea seemed like it might work.
- We thought we could even group the layers in ArcGIS Server by a higher-level classification (or some other field).
But then we quickly realized that we have HUNDREDS of classifications, and therefore we would need
hundreds of WO layers.
Having hundreds of WO layers in a single map would be far too difficult to manage and would introduce significant performance problems.
Does anyone have any clever ideas for creating WO layers that are split out by classification that would be reasonable to manage?
