    Hi,

    We need to generate reporting using data from user usage data - user and environment access (Access Administrator) data. 
    This data needs to be integrated with TBM studio to generate report, is there any way we can do it. if yes, please help.

    Dear @THIRUPPATHI RAMANUJAM:

    Ideas that spring to mind:

    • Fully manual:
      • Run one of the reports in Front Door and download the data as a CSV file:


        You may be able to automate this with the Front Door API. Check this article from my series (link). You then could have a Datalink connector to load the data automatically.

      • Download the data from the appropriate report in the Usage project. If none of the out-of-the box ones satisfies your needs, create your own one.  Reading between the lines of your question, I suppose you'll need to put together a tabular report, something that Cost Transparency will understand.
        This is what we have done:


        You could also create a Datalink Copy Table connector that will download said data and upload it to CT. I haven't done this, but it seems possible.

        I hadn't thought of doing something like this. We do report on usage on a monthly basis, but I just take OOB reports and paste them into a blog post. Regarding user admin, we keep track of the new user statistics separately in an Excel file. Food for thought.
