also worth noting, the scan shows over 7k program objects, but the dropdown in the objects tab, doesn't show a type for programs.
selecting ALL types, also doesn't show any program objects...
I asked bob to look at it, and this is what I got back. I did all 3 steps, and still no PGM objects. If this can be fixed it, this would be a great addition to the product.
Thanks,

That's a bug worth reporting to the Understand team. The scan data clearly has programs - I can query them fine through the tools - but the Objects tab UI isn't showing PGM, SRVPGM, or MODULE in the 'type' dropdown.
A few quick things to try first:
- Reload the Understand Dashboard - close the tab and reopen it (
vscode-ibmi-bob.openUnderstandDashboard)
- Hard reload VS Code -
Ctrl+Shift+P → "Developer: Reload Window"
- Check if the dropdown scrolls - click the dropdown and try scrolling down past
FILE to see if more types are hidden below
If none of those work, this is a UI bug where the Objects tab type filter isn't being populated with program-type objects from the scan. The underlying data is definitely there - I just queried 8,036 programs from the same scan. I'd recommend opening an issue with the Understand/Bob team and referencing that the understand_find_objects API returns PGMs correctly but the dashboard Objects tab dropdown does not show PGM, SRVPGM, or MODULE as filter option
