The Tower Project Spend KPI on our Projects report (IT Mgmt - Projects - Details where 'Project Name' = XXX) is coming up with the monthly spend instead of total project spend.

How is this KPI gathering the data? Where is it coming from?

This is coming from the Projects Object.  It is adding the CapEx and OpEx costs together.  If you go into the report in view mode you can right-click over the KPI and it will show you were the KPI is coming from and how it was built.

The path doesn't seem to same over what time period though so take it that it's just showing the current monthly costs. If this is correct, is there a way to get the full project costs?

It's currently looking at the monthly view (since it's using OpEx and CapEx).  Depending on the range we'd like to see we would need to change the formula to be either FY OpEx + FY CapEx or OpEx YTD + CapEx YTD
