  • 1.  Test and Monitor Setup: hub pod had no NODE and Pending

    Hello,

For APIC 10.0.5.4 on VMWare, test and monitor were installed with the following steps:

apicup subsys set mgmt test-and-monitor-enabled true

apicup certs set mgmt hub --clear

apicup certs set mgmt turnstile --clear

apicup subsys set mgmt hub hub-endpoint

apicup subsys set mgmt turnstile turnstile-endpoint

    apicup subsys install mgmt

The "Test APIs" does show up  on API Manager. However, clicking the link gives error "503 Service Temporarily Unavailable".

I found that the hub pod has no NODE defined, and it has 0/0 on READY column. Its status is Pending.

Could you please help with any tip/advice how to make the pod running and make the TEST APIs work?

Please find the attached project yaml file.

    Thanks very much in advance

    Frank

    Hi,

Does your system have the required resources to run the API Testing features as well as the base API Connect components - as detailed in SPCR, there is an additional minimum requirement for enabling API Testing of an extra 1 core, 2 GB RAM and 20GB more storage.

If you can describe the pod to see more details as to why it hasn't been scheduled this should help to explain why it is in pending.

    Hi Ricky,

Thanks a lot for the tip. It helps. I added more memory and extra cores. Now the hub pod is running and I can access the "TEST APIs"

    Regards
