Is there a capability to capture notes on reports in R12. It sounded like that capability would be available but after looking through community and the application  I can’t find where there is the ability to do so.

Use case: when reviewing reports with service owners each month and there is an approved variance, we would like to have a pop up note that states this so we don’t forget to reference or keep bringing it up.

Short answer - No, we don't have that feature in product yet.

Long answer - This feature is associated with the overarching Editable Tables work that Engineering is still tackling. The first round of Editable Tables work is in EA with the reporting surface work coming out later this year (not sure when, exactly). Hopefully, this part of the reporting surface Editable Tables work will be finished by then, as well.

Specifically for your use cases and processes, is it possible for your team to use ITP for this?

Hi everyone, just wanted to add that we definitely also see several use cases in the notes.

One is to bring report-related information about the data in the reports so all recipients get answers to likely occurring questions. When we have for example different calculations of a number, we can give a short explanation about this. Or we can add a link to more detailed information in our wiki confluence.

If it`s possible we would also like an option where we can choose whether the note is shown in all months or just in a specific month. For example when there is a mistake in the numbers that only occurs in one month.
