While creating Navigation Paths we like to split the paths, like we used to in Framework Manager, between id's and labels. That would allow us to change the labels, without having to recreate our dashboards again.

Is that currently possible or planned with data modules?

Supporting Dimensional data in modules is something we want to add to data modules, in upcoming improvements.

Data modules supports TM1 cubes for dashboarding by presenting the cube as a light weight module.
