This is not intuitive. I tried editing a settings file, and was stumped when after changing a value, "save" was not an option in the FILE menu. I have never seen an application dialog that behaved this way.

I just had the same problem and agree with you.

I thought at first that there was no need to save when editing such fields, and then I lost some time trying to understand the time unit used there (because the model never stopped). The message box on the right would at least tell that.
