  • 1.  Security scanner blocking Bob

    I installed the trial version of Bob 2-days back.

    After a few minutes of working, it crashed. I was unable to locate the exe to re-start, so I re-installed.

    Same problem.

    I then noticed my virus scanner quarantining it with the following:

    IBM Bob.exe
    C:\IBM\IBM Bob\IBM Bob.exe
    IDP.HELU.PSE70
    4/2/26, 8:34 PM

    Before I mark it as safe, has anyone faced a similar problem? Should I mark it as safe?

    Hi Sean,

    Thanks for reporting this and for sharing the detailed scanner output. We are taking this seriously and have raised it with the Bob Development team for investigation.

    At this point, I would recommend not marking the file as safe until we receive official confirmation from the team.
