  • 1.  rpm.rte not able to install to install YUM

    I am trying to install YUM in AiX 6.1. For that, I am trying to install rpm.rte, But getting this error. Kindly help.

    Hello, Ratna
    rpm.rte 4.15 is not supported on AIX 6.1. You can only install this level on 71 or higher.

    Thank you very much for your prompt response. Thanks for saving me the trouble of attempting to install dependencies that also resulted in errors. What do I need to do in order to install YUM in AiX 6.1?   I would appreciate if you would share any documents/links you have so I can review them
