    heard you can Refresh a Transformer Cube using Cognos Data Manager

    Yet can't seem to find any document

    I've been with Cognos since 2005 and I've seen clients using Data Manager to load data into a RDBMS that Transformer, but I've never heard of someone " Refresh a Transformer Cube using Cognos Data Manager".

    The data source types supported by Transformer are listed on the following... a Cognos package or report are by far the most common type of source since PowerPlay Transformer v10

    I believe I read a few more on the same subject but needed more detail

    I'm also looking at using Event Studio (ES)to have users Refresh a Cube, if possible
    Our users can run DM Jobs using ES Tasks

    Transformer cube builds can be scripted via Windows batch or UNIX/Linux shell script.

    Event Studio can call a web service as a task.

    So you could write a web service that invokes a cube build and have Event Studio call that web service as appropriate.

    Hi Jason

    Took a look at the DM package and WOW
    Unfortunately I'm not at ease with Shell Script 
    Was hoping something way more simpler 
    Will re-exam the script and DM package as it looks simple but impressive
