Having a slight issue with Z/OS Explorer (Remote System Explorer) on version 10 of RD&T.
When I try to initially connect to the zPDT running v2.2 I receive an error stating the session timed out. On the MVS console there is a FEK210I message stating the session was forcibly terminated due to the single signon setting. A second attempt allows the connection to succeed. In doing some research I understand the concept of the single signon directive. I'm guessing this is new in V10 because I did not experience this issue in V9.5.
While I understand the concept of the single signon, what seems wrong is that this is happening on my initial connection attempt. So there is no other session active. So why does the system think there is a previous session to cancel when there is not.
I turned off the single.signon option for now, but don't necessary want to leave it there.
Also, I noticed the performance of the Z/OS Explorer is much, much slower than the previous version.
Any input is appreciated.
Thanks.
