I went and tried to request a new license file. Not able to do so. Only the old license file keeps appearing. Someone please help i have already wasted a month on this.

Your license file seems to be fine- as you mention the expiration date on the license is in Apr 2013, so you will not be able to renew it for now. Have you tried using CPLEX 12.2 with this license file? Please name the license file as access.ilm (not access.ilm.txt) and then place it under the C:\ILOG\ILM folder. If these folders donot exist, then create them on your file system. Then try using the products. If you are still having problems, please provide the exact error message.
