I am experiencing some problems installing CPLEX on my machine.

I applied and was approved for an Academic Initiative program and I have then tried to download and install IBM ILOG CPLEX Optimization Studio 12.5. However, installation of CPLEX Optimization Studio fails at the very beginning of the process. More precisely, a Java exception seems to be triggered just after the "Install Anywhere" app has finished to load. I have tried to install the 12.4 version, but the issue occurs and I have also tried to run both setup files in Administrator mode and that does not change anything.

My machine is a Lenovo T430 with a 64-bit Windows 8 professional.

There is an issue in the installer for linux. Setting the following in the terminal fixes that issue.

export PS1=">"

Not sure this would work for windows too.
