  • 1.  Problem Downloading IBM ILOG CPLEX Optimization Studio 20.10 for Windows x86-64

    Greetings everyone,
                   when i press install and proceed to step 2; "Step 2: Run application" , the pop up window doesnt appear!, however i've java installed.

    I sent 2 messages through the  "Request assistance" tab, but i didn't receive any feedback.

    I want to download Cplex asap. So How can i get it installed successfully.

    Hi,

    There are multiple edition to download.

    You can download the free community edition here: https://www.ibm.com/account/reg/signup?formid=urx-20028

    If you are a student or academics, you might be entitled for the Academic Initiative edition.
    To download the Academc Initiative edition, you need to register here: https://www.ibm.com/academic/technology/data-science

    If you are a commercial customer, there's other download means available (please contact me privately).

    Your first message says you have an error, but it is not clear to me what error you have.
    Can you please provide me more information:
    - what is your platform ?
    - Did you register on Academic Initiative site ? If yes, please connect to Academic Initiative with this link: https://www.ibm.com/academic/home
           - Click "Technology -> Data Science" then scroll down to where you see the ribbon with "Resources" , "Software", "Courseware" etc... Click on Software.
           - Just below, you will see the ILOG CPLEX Optimization Studio with a Download link.
           - Follow that Download link - it will lead you to the IBM Academic Initiative download link.
    - If you already downloaded the installer and have errors while running the installer, please explain what you did and if you get any error messages, please send them to me so that I can have a look.

    You're right, i'm attaching a screen shot for the error or the message that pop up when i choose the keep button.

    Hi again,

    It looks like something on your system prevent Download Director to run.
    As an alternative, you can try http download. On your download screen, click "HTTP" instead of Download Director:
