I am wondering if it is possible to see which user approves a labor transaction.

The labtrans table includes laborcode (the user that has worked on the workorder) and enterby (the user who registers the labor on the workorder - can be someone else), but I cannot identify information about who approves the labor transaction (sets genapprservreceipt = 1). We have set up our system to not auto-approve labor. 

Is this information available somewhere or do we need to set up audit to "capture" it (or another solution)?

Hi Monica,

OOTB Maximo does not record this information. You can either set up audit or create a new LABTRANS field for that (as we have done) and fill it via Automation Script / Java customization.
