  • 1.  PBHA FC backend + iscsi ethernet hosts

    Hello Community,
    we configured PBHA today. Is it correct that iSCSI Ethernet hosts are not supported?
     
    Our two 5045 flashstore systems are connected with 16GB FC. The vmware esxi hosts are connected with 10GB Ethernet.

    It is documented in IBM Documentation article "Planning high availability":

    • Only Fibre Channel SCSI hosts can be configured in a storage partition that is configured for high availability.

    Storage Virtualize Version 9.1.0 does provide support for iSCSI Hosts in a PHBA partition.

    • Only the SCSI hosts connected through Fibre Channel or iSCSI can be configured in a storage partition that is configured for high availability.
