FlashSystem grid Storage Partition Migration to Support iSCSI-based Host Environments: Spectrum Virtualize version 9.1.1.0
A FlashSystem grid is a new way of managing storage. It’s a federated scalable storage platform to manage grid made up of multiple FlashSystems and Storage Virtualize Controllers. IBM Spectrum Virtualize has long offered robust partition migration capabilities in Fiber Channel (FC) deployments but until now, similar support for iSCSI environments has been missing. That’s about to change.
With the release of Spectrum Virtualize version 9.1.1.0, we’re excited to introduce native support for iSCSI-based host environments in storage partition migration workflows.
