A lot of details are spread out over multiple entries in the documentation, and are mentioned in passing in footnotes. For example, I spent a lot of time trying the "oil" database example, and failing, until I learned that the example using Access, i.e. DBConnection("Access", "Oil.mdb"), only works with the Office 2007 driver installed, not with Office 2003. Considering this is an entry level tutorial, this is very important information!
