I wish OPL could check for typical errors and make suggestions in its error reporting. Especially in complex problems with multiple systems tied together (OPL, cplex, a database, the database driver, SQL, etc.), tracing the true error source is cumbersome. Sometimes small errors are not obvious to the eye after hours viewing the screen. For example, everything is case sensitive, but OPL will not draw attention to an error resulting from typos on case. It took me some time for my eyes to realize that "SolveQuery" and "Solvequery" were not the same and causing a runtime error.
