Does anyone have any experience / success with opening a new browser session/window within CT that behind your corporate firewalls?

Our scenario is this....

All of our invoice images from our PeopleSoft system are housed in our Onbase instance behind our firewalls. We have the individual URL's for each invoice associated with our actuals. However, because Apptio CT is outside of our firewalls, trying to view those images doesn't work. Just wondered if anyone had tackled the challenge of somehow opening a new browser window that was behind your firewall.

If I understand you correctly: You have an embedded link within a report in CT, and that link is on an internal system within your private network.

If this is the case, as long as you are on that same network when you click on the link, you should be redirected to that document.

Yes, you understood. Thank you!! We will give that a try. We made the assumption that we were outside the firewall and would have issues.  Sounds like a bad assumption.

You'll also need to fully qualify your URL web addy rather than using shorthand (which will adopt the root domain of your CT instance - on the wrong side of your firewall).

Thank you both for your replies. We took this one step further and working with @Chris Davidson and @Jonathan Strauss for the magic formula, we have this working. A big success for us being able to use Apptio to display our invoice images - what a tool and what a great team of people.
