since we updated to ILMT v9.2.19 we cannot assign InfoSphere DataStage to the product InfoSphere DataStage Server 11.5 (PVU). Only InfoSphere DataStage Workgroup Edition or InfoSphere DataStage Server for Non-Prod are suggested. Software Catalog is up to date.

Is it a known issue and how can I solve it?

Hi,

If none of the products that is listed by default matches your license agreement, create a custom relation known as custom bundling. You create a custom bundling in the following situations.

• The component was obtained as part of a product that is not listed as an existing relation.
• The type of the relation that is listed in your license agreement is not available by default. For example, when the existing relation between the component and the product is charged, but your license agreement states that the component is not charged.

To create a custom bundling, perform the following steps.

1. Clear the List products for which the component is listed as a bundling option check box to view all products that exist in the catalog, and select the appropriate product.
2. Specify whether you want the relation between the component and the product to be charged or not charged. If you specify the relation as not charged, the component does not contribute to the license metric utilization of the product to which it is assigned.

thanks for the reply. I don't want to use custom bundling beacuse it has also other impacts.

Furthermore the bundling was available before the ILMT upgrade and the bundling option for Non-Prod is also available. I suppose it's an defect in the catalog.

Please note that custom bundling is a fully supported way of proper ILMT configuration and report generation

You just need to ensure that the custom bundling that you are about to create is in accordance with your license agreement.

yes, I know but as I mentioned the default bundling option was available before the upgrade and is gone with v9.2.19.

That's why I suppose it's a error in the catalogue which needs to be fixed on your end and provided as a catalog update.
