  • 1.  Charged vs Excluded

    Posted Fri February 05, 2021 11:38 AM

    Hello -

Can someone explain the difference between charge vs excluded? I got the definitions but do they both basically mean that they are not included in being charged against the license and pvu counting, which is part of licensing?

    Charged

Indicates whether the relation between the component and the product is charged based on the license terms. If the relation is charged, the component contributes to the license metric utilization of the product to which it is assigned.

    Excluded

Indicates whether the product on a computer is currently excluded from the pricing calculations.

    Thank you!

Charged products are charged against pvu counting.

If a product that is charged is excluded, it is excluded from pvu calculations
