If you are attempting to open up time for a new fiscal year in your project follow the steps below:
1. At the top of the Apptio interface, click the down arrow next to the project name (see screenshot below) and then select “Project Time Settings”
2. To extend the project into the future, select the End of Project dropdown and a calendar dropdown will appear. Here you can extend the project out indefinitely. It is recommended you do not extend your project for more than two years into the future at any one time.
3. When the required periods have been opened for uploading, click the Close button, and then the Save button. You may now go back to the Data tab to load the dataset.
