Hello, I spent a little too long looking into this today, so thought I'd try to make it easier for others...
This is specific to Internet Explorer (IE). Depending on the security settings, IE may not properly render dropdown arrows (carets) - which may give users the impression that no dropdowns are available (see attached screenshot). Don't panic, the functionality is still there, it's just not visible. Users can still click in the blank space, where the arrow should be, to expand/collapse items.
To resolve this, you might consider the following options:
- Update the security settings in IE (see article below)
- If possible, direct users to another browser, such as Edge or Chrome
