  • 1.  MCC DataLink Tagging Issues

    Hi all,

    We have recently encountered a bizarre issue with our cloud tagging not flowing through to the correct tag column post ingestion via the Multi-cloud Connector. For example, June and August tags are coming through the correct columns as expected. However, those same tags in July are now appearing in a different column. And as a result of the limited 'cloud mapping' options available to us (max 3) we cannot add these new columns to our existing mapping. 

    Our initial diagnosis is that this is a result of a parsing error. But we are keen to know if others have ever experienced a similar issue?

    Hi @Michael Shamsiev , I also see there is a ticket opened by KPMG for this as well.  Will also be interested to know if others have experienced this - thank you for posting!

    Apptio have recommended that we move away from MCC to the new CDI (Cloudability Data Ingestion) engine.

    Work is progressing.

    The (Classic) connector stopped working at the end of 2022. In the last days, Apptio Support/Engineering seem to have managed to run it for APR-JUN2023, but there are still holes in the data.
