  • 1.  Maximo Mobile - Maximo Part (Enablement) - Is it available already?

    I've found that IBM released mobile apps of Maximo Mobile Solution to AppStore and PlayStore.
    Application, when downloaded, requests Maximo address to connect to.
    Has IBM released Maximo part of Maximo Mobile solution already, which can be downloaded and installed - making review of new product possible?
    I've looked into Software Access Catalog, Fix Central, etc. - but no signs of Maximo Mobile there.
    Have you found something more?

    Hi!  Hope all is well.

    The initial release of Maximo Mobile Inspector and Techincian were released February 26, 2021 via an iFix from Maximo.   The information on this so far includes:
    1.  This is the first release of bringing Maximo Anywhere and the Work Centers on the new Graphite Technology Platform
    2.  There is one code base for both the connected (work center) and disconnected (application) features
    3.  This is first release of Inspection app off-line
    4.  This is the initial release - so its feature set will be built up over time
    5.  One Graphite App shell is used for all applications.  There are no individual applications moving forward
    6.  This is available on Maximo 7.6.1.2 by 
        A.  Downloading Maximo Mobile app from Google or Apple Playstore (Windows not available yet)
        B. Application of Maximo Mobile Package for 7.6.1.2
        C. If using maps - requires Spatial license + Spatial iFix for 7.6.1
        D.  Requires Maximo 7.6.1.2 iFix.   which  believe is:  https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/6420081
    7.  Believe to use this new mobile product from Maximo - it requires App Point Licensing model (MAS - Maximo Application Suite model)

    For deploying IBM Maximo Mobile for EAM
    (1) Download mobile app "IBM Maximo Mobile for EAM" from app stores. It is already available on Android app store and in process of being published on iOS app store. IBM Maximo Mobile for EAM app is intended for use with your IBM Maximo Asset Management v7.6.1.2 system, while the "IBM Maximo Mobile" app (also available on app stores) is intended for use with IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS), specifically Assist in current release.
    (2) Usage of IBM Maximo Mobile and IBM Maximo Mobile for EAM are both entitled thru purchase of MAS AppPoints. This is required whether you intend to use it with your Maximo v7.6.1.2 system or with MAS.
    (3) Maximo Mobile code package is provided as part of the entitlement, and will need to be applied to Maximo v7.6.1.2. For the initial release this is via distribution outside of Passport Advantage. Clients should contact the IBM sales rep for their account on obtaining entitlements and the distribution will be provided as part of the sales process. Business Partners can contact their partner reps or Maximo Mobile offering management for obtaining the distribution for their demo/training purposes.     (4) Maximo Mobile for EAM requires Maximo v7.6.1.2 to be updated with latest IFIX. Download from Fix Central - IFIX006 for Maximo 7.6.1.2 and optionally IFIX004 for Maximo Spatial 7.6.1 (for maps)
