    What are you trying to do with attachments?

    I also am struggling to get things up and running.

    And there are sadly enough not many answers.

    To enable the Add Attachments button, grant the Add Attachments permission in the Object Structure MXAPIWODETAIL for the user's security group. It is turned off by default.

    Now I am getting the error as :-  The value Attachments is not valid for Document Folder. Specify a valid value for Document Folder.

    Hi Biswa,

    Can you please verify and confirm your ability to add attachments form Core Maximo (i.e. Desktop) is working and that can attach and retrieve documents? You later error may indicate that you cannot.

    Hello Bradley - I checked in the demo environment and its working fine. I checked and compared , found the difference is mxe.doclink.doctypes.defpath-

    F:\doclinks and mxe.doclink.doctypes.topLevelPaths- \DOCLINKS but in demo environment mxe.doclink.doctypes.defpath is blanks.

    Hooray!  A difference!  Two tests then.  One, point you device to the demo environment and see if you can achieve the desired result from your device (i.e. create and retrieve an attached document, and subsequently see the new attached document on core.). If you can do that there then apply update in higher environemnt and retest in that environment.
