I haven't done my due diligence and searched too hard for this, so I'll consider my hand slapped (in a loving way, of course), but are there any R11 releases or R12 releases that allow you to keep the specific set of columns you have up in a data set when changing months - vs having to do a new show/hide w/each month?

11 at the moment, but looking to upgrade to 12 middle of the year, something to look forward to :-)

The show/hide 'sticks' when changing months in 12?  That would be fabulouso!

That is what I remember that it sticks in V12. It definitely was on my wish list and a discomfort (pain) in V11 that it would go away each time a month is changed.

Should have thought of this sooner - but since in test - just create Generated Table of the transform - pull in only columns needed - apply filters where needed - then I can just go month to month and export.  Certainly easier than setting up new each month.  Should prob just create a report ha..

Was going to suggest that, or add a new report with a table based on the transform you're looking at, then just add the columns and filters you need and away you go  But another transform may be the less complicated option 

I solved this by having few similar reports (show/hide columns on these reports as needed) and then set show/hide reports based on selected period. I think it is manageble maximaly with three report versions.
