    If i check the status of the sendmail it's inoperative and when i try to start it, it appears to start but when i check again i got the same status.

    root@samrd1a> lssrc -s sendmail

    sendmail mail inoperative

    root@samrd1a> startsrc -s sendmail

    root@samrd1a> lssrc -s sendmail

    sendmail mail inoperative
    I need help. Someone know how to resolve this issue or what is the cause of it?
