  • 1.  ITPF Trouble Shooting

    Posted 06/04/21 11:15 AM

My team and I have had file import errors on two separate occasions over the last couple of months when loading reference data files, monthly actuals, or forecasts back into the planning tool.  Because of the errors, we were unable to make any updates that had to be made outside of the tool.  If you and other members of your team have gotten the error shown below when trying to import files into the planning tool, below are a couple of trouble shooting items to go through.

    1. Run a speed test on your wi-fi

With everyone working from home, not all internet speeds are going to be the same.  Go to www.speedtest.net and make sure you are getting a strong upload speed and or a speed you would be expecting to get.  If you aren't, do a simple reset or your modem or router, and that should get your upload speed back to normal.

    1. Adjust your HTTP2 settings for your VPN provider

This requires some behind the scenes adjustment by your IT department, but they should know how to do this.  This adjustment solved our upload issue the first time it occurred.

    1. Disable SSL traffic interception to Apptio.com

This will also require some behind the scenes adjustment by your IT department.  This adjustment solved our upload issue the second time it occurred.
