When importing a new Vendor Reference Data file we receive the following message:  "The value specified in this column conflicts with system data and will be ignored".  

The import file has two columns:  Name and ID  (ID is the column causing the problem).  This file has been uploaded with these same two columns every month for at least the last year without issue.  It's easy enough to change the column to Vendor ID and remove the ID column (which does work) but I'd still like to understand why this has started happening.

when importing data as you have described, the screen you have pasted above is highlighting columns it does not recognise. I note in the screen shot the following - Id (706 instances), yet in your text you mention ID. Is it as simple as the new file has a column name "Id" and not "ID"?

Even though the message says Id, the header in the input file is ID and the column in the vendor reference data is ID.  I just double checked both places and tried again.  Here's what I have learned:

If I add a column called Vendor ID, change the header in the source file to Vendor ID and delete the existing column called ID it works.

I also thought maybe there was something wrong with the values in the ID in the source file, even though they haven't changed much.  I changed them all to a random word and tried.  Same error.

It gives me the impression that all of a sudden there is something about a column called ID that is causing a conflict ?

I also just tried exporting the template which gave me the headers Name, ID and three sample records.  When I try to upload that file I get the same error.

Hi @George McElfresh,

In ITP the column name ID is used in the backend which in turn means you can not upload a reference data set with the same name, ID. If you change the name of the column to Vendor ID or something like that it will load in. We already have an internal open ticket on this to address.
