    Can someone help with the difference between IT Planning Foundation and IT Financial Management Foundation?

    Hi Tara, good question. I'll answer it generically here. For something more specific to your company, you should reach out to your AM and they can help and loop me or someone else on the product team in as necessary.

    The easiest way for me to answer it is that IT Planning Foundation is for Apptio customers that already have Cost Transparency. IT Financial Management Foundation contains both IT Planning Foundation and the Foundation portion of Cost Transparency. We package those together (starting in late 2017) into a single product for customers looking to get started on their IT Financial Management journey.
