  • 1.  Integrate BMC MTM w/ Omnibus

    I want to integrate BMC Truesight Middleware with Omnibus. Has anyone done this before? If so, where do you recommend I get started and were there any key learnings that would be good to know in advance?

    Hello Taylor,
    By integrate, does that mean event integration?   If so, BMC MTM can call a program to pass the event info to Omnibus.  I have done this a few times for dozens of alerts.  In general, Omnibus provides a program (adapter) that MTM calls that passes the Event data in a format that Omnibus expects for processing.   The last account I did this required a leading (prefix) string and then a trailing prefix string. That was the choice of the local Omnibus staff.     It is not difficult to do.
