Hi, 

I am part of the IBM Academic program. I encountered problem when trying to install Cplex Studio (full version 22.1.1) on my Windows (64 bits) Computer.  The software was installed on this computer but it was running slowly. I decided to remove it and reinstall it.  However, the re-installation doesn't work.  The process starts but it stops around 22% or it goes to 23-24% and then the window disappear without completing the installation.  Do you know how to resolve this problem?

Thank you. I was not able to reinstall but I provided your answer to the tech who is trying to do it.  By the way, do you know how to accelerate the Windows CPLEX STUDIO IDE?  The reason why I tried to reinstall the software is that the model editor was very slow.  When I was trying to modify my mod file, there was a lot of latency.  I am not sure but I suspect that this latency was due to the fact that the IDE was always trying to check automatically if there are errors in the model.

Hello Alex,

Modifying a model file using the system editor is much faster.  However, I don't understand why the OPL editor is so slow even for very small model file.  It was not the case 1-2 years ago but now it is very slow. If I open a small model file and I want to modify a line, there is a big delay when typing something.  When teaching the use of cplex in class, it is problematic.  Also, it is hard to explain to my students why the OPL editor is so slow. Do you why the OPL editor is now so slow?  Do you know how to speed it up? Here are the details of my cplex version :

Version : 22.1.2.0
