Hi all,

I am trying to export our exchange rates to excel (from R11), from the raw file table, and for some reason the export arrives with the numbers rounded.

Not just hidden, as excel does, but rounded to the nearest unit before the file is created.

Saving the file, expanding the points shown, changing the number format doesn't work - nothing but 0000's are revealed.

Interestingly this only happens on the currency file for the conversion Rate number.

Exported money amounts do have decimal places.

I am guessing it is something in the number export, hoping it is a setting somewhere, can't imagine it being hard-coded to the Currency Exchange table.

Anyone aware of how to manage this so I don't have to type them out? (I don't have access to the original file)

Maybe answer: I noticed that even though our project is in France numeric format some of our tables (out of the box ones mostly) are in US numeric, Currency Exchange being one of them. So I changed it and saved it and the decimals reappeard on the export.

So what I think is happening is the query is hitting the ',' (decimal marker in Europe) and ignoring the rest of the string, hence the impression of rounding.

Wonder how many points I get for marking my own reply as correct?
